There have been a lot of changes in my life recently, this website being one of them. I’ve taken multiple steps into the unknown and have, at the age of 30, moved away from my comfort zone permanently. Kelly and I have purchased our first home, next week we are set to be married, and I’ve made up my mind to try to write full-time. I may be postponing the last one till next year but that is the ultimate plan, to chase the dream.
I just finished reading Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt. I will be uploading a full review towards the end of the weekend here but for right now I just wanted to state that I am impressed. There are a lot of ideas that themes that were explored in the book that played well with the overall narrative. As an aspiring horror author I would hope to write as well as this novel and I feel that this one is a great jumping off point for the future of my book reviews.
I stated above that I am getting married next week, next Saturday to be exact. I have never been more scared and excited in my entire life. This doesn’t change much for Kelly and me, as we have been together for almost a decade, but it is nice to finally tie the knot, as they say. We are having a little bit of a destination wedding as it is being held in Helena Montana. Montana is… words can’t really describe the beauty that the state holds. I could write for days and countless pages but none of it would compare. There are some things that need to be seen through one’s own eyes. At the end of the day the natural beauty of the area does not compare to that of my soon to be wife.
I just wanted to take a little time out of my day and share what is happening in my life. I hope everyone who reads this is happy and healthy and able to get outside this weekend and enjoy nature. I will be checking in soon with the aforementioned book review. Have a good evening.
